More information about Selection 16/79 Pinotage 2019
Already the beautiful red color makes you want more and also the bouquet of the Selection 16/79 Pinotage promises a multilayered red wine. Aromas of red fruits and black cherries are accompanied by a wonderful cinnamon note. The wonderful fruit notes are also very present on the palate and the great tannin structure makes for a great mouthfeel. The Selection 16/79 Pinotage inspires with its complex, yet accessible character, aged for twelve months in French and American oak barrels and is an ideal partner to dishes with dark meat, but the red wine also cuts a fine figure with your favorite pasta. The creation from South Africa's national grape is part of Selection 16/79, which commemorates Simon van der Stel, the founder of South African wine culture.
