More information about Selection 16/79 Sauvignon Blanc 2021
A Sauvignon Blanc as it is in the book - that is the Selection 16/79 Sauvignon Blanc, because it combines in itself the green and tropical notes that are so characteristic of the grape variety. On the nose, wonderful aromas of apples and citrus fruits unfold, on the palate, the fresh and elegant white wine scores with nuances of pears and green apples, while a light herbal note and a nice minerality provide great accents. Therefore, the wine is simply a pleasure on its own, it is also a very good choice with salads, seafood or poultry. The Selection 16/79 Sauvignon Blanc is only available in limited quantities and is part of a collection that commemorates the centuries of winemaking tradition in the Cape, which was founded with Simon van der Stel in 1679.
