The Simonsig Redhill Pinotage pours into the glass in a dark red hue and unfolds the wonderful aroma of violets at first, closely followed by aromas of white pepper and a light oak note. On the palate, the red wine from South Africa's national grape shows its fruity side and impresses with nuances of cranberries, cherries and fresh strawberries. Notes of dark berries round off the taste experience of the elegant Simonsig Redhill Pinotage perfectly. Enjoy it either on its own or with dark meat or spicy dishes. The red wine matured for nineteen months in French oak and owes its name to the famous red hills of the winery: the red soils of the vineyard.
