More information about Simonsig Tiara 2018
The Simonsig Tiara is a complex red wine cuvée made from Cabernet Sauvignon (82%), Merlot (13%), Petit Verdot (2%), Cabernet Franc (2%) and Malbec (1%), which glows a dark crimson red in the glass. Immediately, fruity aromas of blackberries, blackcurrants and raspberries beguile the senses. Fine floral nuances and a hint of cedar lend even more complexity to the estate's best red wine. The tannins and acidity are well integrated on the palate and culminate in a long-lasting finish. The Simonsig Tiara, which has matured for eighteen months in French oak, is best enjoyed with spicy or dark meat. But the red wine is also a real treat on its own.
