As the first and only Upper Bavarian single malt whisky, produced since 1999, the Slyrs distillery offers a true masterpiece in the form of a fine drop.
What makes Slyrs single malt whisky so special? It is produced using the classic rough and fine distillation process from barley malt and mountain spring water - a traditional method that ensures the highest quality and incomparable taste.
It is stored in new oak barrels with a capacity of 225 liters. The result is a vintage brandy that is only available in a limited number of bottles.
The Amontillado Cask Finish gives this exquisite whisky its special aroma. After maturing for 2.5 years in new American white oak casks, it is finished for more than 11 months in original amontillado casks from the renowned Bodegas Tradición in Jerez, Spain.
These casks have developed their characteristic notes for up to 50 years and give the whisky a fascinating complexity.
