More information about Snowy owl Yasmin Berliner Weisse
The Berlin brewery Schneeeule has dedicated itself to the renaissance of the once very popular Berliner Weisse beer style. Behind the wings of the white owl is Ulrike Genz, who is a master brewer with heart and soul and puts all her skill and passion into the relaunch of the beer that had fallen into disrepute. For a long time, Berliner Weisse was frowned upon by real beer lovers, as it was drunk exclusively with the addition of sweet syrup. The "pandering" was not well received in the beer scene. Today, the Weisse from the capital is experiencing a new hype: numerous craft brewers have taken up the challenge of restoring the Berliner Weisse to its former glory. They left out the unpopular syrup and brewed Berliner Weisse that could be enjoyed without any sweetening at all.
Yasmin is one such example of Berliner Weisse and instead of syrup it contains a fine portion of jasmine blossoms. The white beauties lend the sour beer an exotic note and balance out the acidity with a wonderful floral note. Lactic acid bacteria and very special yeasts also ensure a very special character and a playful lightness that makes Yasmin the perfect summer beer.
Schneeeules Yasmin has the color of sun-kissed straw in the glass and is wonderfully cloudy. The beer is crowned with a generous amount of airy foam and has a fine aroma of jasmine blossoms and crisp, sour summer fruits. The first sip follows the olfactory first impression: with sparkling carbonic acid and subtly balanced notes of vineyard peach, white gooseberries, green apples and jasmine blossoms, Berliner Weisse is a delight.

Snowy Owl
Berliner Weisse is Ulrike Genz's favorite beer and the reason she started brewing in the first place. As a Berliner, it was and still is her desire to give good, traditional beer back to her hometown. With a lot of heart and craft, she has built up the Schneeeule label and brews wonderfully refreshing beer in a one-woman process and fine creations like Schampus Weiß Vintage, which was created in cooperation with Bayerischer Bahnhof and Freigeist Bierkultur. Snowy Owl Ulrike came up with these unusual names while taking a closer look at the Berliner Weisse: Crowned by white foam, the beer shines in bright light yellow. Yellow and white are also the dominant colors of the snowy owl, yellow eyes on white feathers. Ulrike also liked the three consecutive E's in the name, an eye-catcher, just like the monochrome labels with the large owl spreading its wings. Extraordinary is the name of...
