More information about Snowy owl Otto Holunderblütenweisse
If you've only ever tasted elderberry in the form of syrup, juice or jelly, we highly recommend Schneeeule's elderflower whiskey. The fine white was cold-fermented with the addition of countless elderflowers. This had two effects: Not only do the white flowers give the beer its delicate taste with their fruity floral notes, but the wild yeasts clinging to the flowers also contribute aroma.
This culmination of holundrian excellence tastes of early summer, with all its colors: After the first dip in the still-cool lake, after balmy evenings illuminated by fireflies, after summer flower meadows and barbecues with friends.
Translated into figurative language, this means the following: Otto, which presents itself in cloudy gold in the glass, has an unmistakable scent of elderflowers, which mingle with the fine notes of fresh fruit, mild malt and delicate citrus fruit on the nose. The first taste confirms the olfactory first impression and pampers the tongue with clean elderflower, spicy yeast, a hint of white pepper and fruity notes of green apple, gooseberry and tangy lime.
Incidentally, this fine beer specialty is named after Otto von Lilienthal. However, because lilies are not nearly as delicate in taste as elderflowers and are also poisonous, the exquisite beauties have been replaced by the classic elderflower. An extremely good decision!

Snowy Owl
Berliner Weisse is Ulrike Genz's favorite beer and the reason she started brewing in the first place. As a Berliner, it was and still is her desire to give good, traditional beer back to her hometown. Snowy Owl Ulrike came up with these unusual names while taking a closer look at the Berliner Weisse: Crowned by white foam, the beer shines in bright light yellow. Yellow and white are also the dominant colors of the snowy owl, yellow eyes on white feathers. Ulrike also liked the three consecutive E's in the name, an eye-catcher, just like the monochrome labels with the large owl spreading its wings. Extraordinary is the name of...
