The Spier Creative Block 3 glows a dark ruby red in the glass and exudes the wonderful aroma of dark cherries and mulberries, closely followed by spicy black pepper and a hint of violets. Silky tannins caress the palate and support the concentrated fruit notes. The rich cuvée of Shiraz (94%), Mourvèdre (4%) and Viognier (2%) matured for sixteen months in French and American oak and is a wonderful accompaniment to spicy dishes or grilled meats.
