The Spier Creative Block 5 presents itself in the glass in a dark ruby red and seduces with a wonderful aroma of dark fruits such as blackberries, black cherries and blackcurrants. Nuances of dark chocolate and cedar, rounded off with a hint of fennel, give the bouquet additional depth.
"On the palate, the cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec is balanced, with a fine tannin structure and beautiful length.
The red wine matures for 18 months in French oak and is an excellent accompaniment to mushroom risotto or dark meat. Spicy dishes also harmonize wonderfully with the Spier Creative Block 5.
