The grapes for the cuvée of Merlot (62%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (38%) come from organic cultivation and give the red wine its complex character. Aromas of cassis and fennel harmonize with a cedar note before the Spier First Stone Organic Red finishes elegantly. The red wine has matured for twelve months in French oak and is an excellent accompaniment to a delicious fillet of beef with truffle puree and grilled vegetables.
