The Spier Seaward Shiraz pours into the glass in a dark ruby red color and wraps red wine lovers around its finger with its fruity, spicy aroma. Aromas of mulberries, blackcurrants and blackberries characterize the bouquet, accompanied by subtle nuances of pepper and aniseed. Concentrated fruit notes are also noticeable on the palate and are perfectly balanced by soft tannins. The Spier Seaward Shiraz matures for fourteen months in French oak and is a wonderful accompaniment to meat dishes or savory dishes. Incidentally, the Spier Seaward Shiraz owes its name to the vineyards facing the sea near the Atlantic Ocean.
