As we all know, the best stories are told at the bar - and some even start there. Like that of SPITZMUND. After Andreas Werner, multiple award-winning bartender, had spoiled his guests with original cocktail creations for years, he no longer wanted to just put other people's spirits in the glass, but also liked to put his own. So he set out to find regional partners for the realization of his ideas - with individual strengths that were to be brought to perfection in his products. The start was made in 2013 with a New Western Dry Gin, which was initially produced in small batches. The exquisite gin with selected botanicals such as juniper, plum and coriander blew people away in the best sense - and laid the foundation for the SPITZMUND brand.

Since then, the manufactory from Kiel has steadily developed and expanded its repertoire. However, without shaking its basic values. What can be made by hand is also made by hand. And quality always comes before quantity. That leaves the people in the region, to whom the team around Andreas Werner feels very close. SPITZMUND seeks cooperation with regional diaconal institutions to support them in their everyday work. Because for the native North German, home also means a good deal of responsibility.
