The Steenberg Lady R Cap Classique sparkles in a light copper color in the glass. The aromatic sparkling wine made from Pinot Noir (70%) and Chardonnay (30%) delights on the nose with aromas of lemon zest, quince jam and raspberries. Nuances of roasted almonds and dried herbs round off the first impression perfectly. With its fine perlage, the elegant Steenberg Lady R Cap Classique caresses the palate and impresses with its extremely good structure. The creamy texture is beautifully balanced by a fresh acidity and the mineral notes are in perfect harmony with the fruity apple aromas. The sparkling wine was produced using the traditional method and matured on the lees for 52 months after the second fermentation in the bottle. Enjoy the Steenberg Lady R Cap Classique neat on special occasions, but it is also an excellent accompaniment to light dishes.
