More information about Tokara Director's Reserve Red 2019
Only the very best grapes from the very best vineyards of the estate were used for the Tokara Director's Reserve Red. The blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (70%), Petit Verdot (15%), Merlot (9%) and Cabernet Franc (6%) is already captivating with its inviting red color in the glass and the wonderful aroma beguiles the senses. Fruity aromas of red and dark berries rise to the nose, wafted by lightly toasted oak and cedar. On the palate, the red wine impresses with an uncanny presence and its fruity character, marked by notes such as blackberries, black cherries and ripe plums. Pleasant, slightly spicy nuances give the Tokara Director's Reserve Red the final touch and the fine tannins provide a great mouthfeel. Therefore, you should definitely enjoy the red wine, which matured for 22 months in French oak, once pure, but the Tokara Director's Reserve Red also accompanies dishes with dark meat quite excellent - the combination with a grilled steak is particularly recommended.
