More information about Tokara Director's Reserve Red 2021
The Tokara Director's Reserve Red presents itself in a vibrant carmine red with an intense, dark core and a ruby red rim. The nose already reveals a complex interplay of aromas of black cherry, fine cocoa, dried currants, tobacco leaves and oak.
"On the palate, the cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon (70%), Petit Verdot (14%), Merlot (10%), Cabernet Franc (4%) and Malbec (2%) impresses with exceptional purity and precision. The aromas of dark cherries, blackberries and plum give it a full-bodied structure. Fine tannins and a long, elegant finish make this red wine, which matured for 22 months in French oak, the perfect pleasure experience.
The Tokara Director's Reserve Red is not only a treat for the palate on its own, it harmonizes perfectly with grilled ribeye steak, served with béarnaise sauce and dauphinoise potatoes.
