The Uva Mira O.T.V. shines a beautiful purple red in the glass. Ockert Tobias Venter, owner of Uva Mira, has dedicated the red wine cuvée made from Cabernet Franc (60%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (40%) to the life's work of his father, O.T. Venter Senior. The bouquet of this flagship wine, which is limited to 1032 bottles, is impressively complex. Red fruit aromas are surrounded by an elegant tobacco note as well as smoky and mineral nuances. Well-balanced tannins and a creamy texture give the rich Uva Mira O.T.V. a great mouthfeel. The red wine matures for eighteen months in French oak and is a highlight in a glass of red wine on its own thanks to its elegance, but it also goes well with dark meat or spicy dishes.
