The grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon (58%), Merlot (21%), Cabernet Franc (11%), Malbec (5%) and Petit Verdot (5%) make for a complex wine that impresses with a multi-faceted interplay of aromas. Fruity notes of red and dark stone fruit are accompanied by green tea and herbs. Soft tannins give the Vergenoegd Löw Heritage Collection Maximilian an opulent mouthfeel. Enjoy this classic red wine, which has matured for twelve months in French and Slovenian oak, with aromatic dishes such as slow-roasted lamb.
