The Vilafonté Seriously Old Dirt Magnum impresses with its deep ruby red color and multi-faceted aromas. The cuvée, dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, unfolds a harmonious composition of delicate floral nuances and intense fruit aromas. The glass reveals vibrant notes of blackcurrant, black plum, dark cherry and raspberry, accompanied by a seductive spice of cinnamon and fine clove.
"On the palate, the wine is smooth with a luxurious, silky texture. The concentrated aromas of ripe black fruits and dark chocolate merge into an expressive taste experience. Its balanced structure provides a pleasant fullness, while the fine spicy notes linger subtly in the long finish.
The fine, velvety tannins and fresh acidity round off the wine perfectly. The cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon (94%), Malbec (3%), Merlot (2%) and Cabernet Franc (1%) matured for eighteen months in French oak and is an excellent companion for special occasions or enjoyable moments in convivial company - especially in the large bottle.
