More information about Red wine Cuvée 2016
Villa Bucher is located in the heart of Umbria, in the middle of Italy, surrounded by green dream landscapes. PRIMUS represents the spearhead of quality at the family-run winery.
San Venanzo is located at the foot of a former volcano. There the grapes are picked by hand, so Villa Bucher ensures that only the very best berries are processed.
Eighteen months the red wine matures in small French barrels, this provides intense toasty aromas and guarantees the perfect balance between aromas, sweetness, acidity and alcohol.
The powerful cuvée is aromatically dominated by red fruits, herbal spice, pepper notes and a hint of sweet vanilla, due to the barrel aging.
With a lot of complexity and power, the wine convinces all along the line. Primus is excellent for further aging.
The wine carries the protected designation of origin "IGT Umbria". This is an indicator of high quality.
