"Aromas of dark and red fruits unfold on the nose, surrounded by herbs, vanilla, violets and a hint of clove.
On the palate, the cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), Shiraz (23%), Merlot (7%), Mourvèdre (6%), Sangiovese (5%), Cabernet Franc (4%), Petit Verdot (3%) and Barbera (2%) is harmoniously balanced, full-bodied and elegant. The fine structure and pleasant mouthfeel make every sip an experience.
Velvety tannins provide a pleasant mouthfeel, while 20 months of ageing in French oak gives the wine additional depth and ageing potential. Waterford Estate The Jem Magnum is already a enjoyment at the highest level, but can gain even more character over the years.
