Summer honey - also known as "forest and blossom honey" - is made from a combination of flower nectar and honeydew. The bees collect it from lime trees, sunflowers, blackberries and numerous wild herbs and forest trees. This diversity makes its character particularly intense and multi-layered.
The taste of summer honey is strong and complex: from pleasantly sweet and spicy to slightly tart and savory. Its color ranges from golden yellow to amber and its consistency is creamy to finely crystalline, depending on the degree of natural crystallization.
An expressive honey for all those who love it aromatic - pure on bread, with cheese, in strong dressings or to refine savory dishes.
