Winery Michael Andres

In 1993 I took the initiative and started my own winery. Due to my deep conviction, the certification as an organic farm followed in 2006 and the entry into organic farming methods known as biodynamics. My goal has always been to better understand the terroir of my sites and produce perfect wines with a character all their own. The work in the vineyard, such as manual labor, hand harvesting and selection, give me a close connection with nature. Thanks to this "feeling and sensing" I contribute significantly to the quality of my wines. Applying organic fertilizer and biodynamic preparations, at precisely determined times, feels good and right. I love working outdoors and seeing the good things happen almost by themselves.
