More information about Wiśniówka Limited Edition

New limited edition of the cherry liqueur, Jakob Haberfeld's flagship product. The Wiśniówka Barrel Aged spent 6 months in the musk beer barrels (RIS style) of the Nook brewery, in which the Laphroaig whisky was previously stored.

The aroma of the Wiśniówka Barrel Aged is quite inconspicuous: lots of preserved cherries, a sweetish smoky note. The taste is not a classic cherry - peat, smoke and leather dominate here. There is also a little cherry jam and a hint of dark chocolate. The drink is clearly sweet.

The finish is cherry compote-like and dry, followed by leather and peat. Another interesting combination from Jakob Haberfeld.

The product is packaged in an elegant cardboard box. An ideal gift idea.

This was followed by the tragic occupation period, which overshadowed the further fate of the family. However, without the personal commitment of Mirosław Ganobis, a friend of the Haberfeld family, a local social worker and a lover of Oświęcim's history, the brand would probably not have survived. Thanks to him, the museum was opened on the site of the former steam factory and the production of vodkas and liqueurs resumed. Today, the Nissenbaum Family Foundation plays a major role in the production of contemporary products by Jakob...
