Rose Valley Buckwheat Brandy Barrel-Aged:
Buckwheat brandy is arguably one of the more unusual grain brandies. In terms of its production and taste, the noble brandy can also be compared to a classic single grain whiskey - distilled in the same way from malt and grain, without the use of technical enzymes. The grain brandy gets its strong note from the storage in a freshly emptied Cabernet Sauvignon barrel. Unlike whiskey, however, without three years of storage, so that it is available from us as a regional grain brandy, with grain from the Nossner region.

In terms of its production, our grain spirit should probably be called classic single grain whiskey - a grain spirit made from locally grown wheat and rye, produced like a whiskey without the use of technical enzymes. The noble grain spirit is stored in wonderfully fragrant, freshly emptied bourbon barrels from Kentucky. The distillate, however, remains - compared to whiskey - only 18 months instead of 3 years in the barrel and is therefore but available with us as a regional grain brandy.
