The Beyerskloof Eerste Ry Cabernet Sauvignon is a very special red wine, as it is the winery's first Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes used for this complex wine come from the first vines planted on the estate - hence the name "Eerste Ry", which means "first row". The dark red color and the intense aroma of dark fruits and blackcurrants pamper the red wine lover's eyes and nose. A subtle spicy note skilfully rounds off the aromas. The red wine, which has matured for 24 months in French oak and two years in the bottle, is well structured and balanced on the palate. The Beyerskloof Eerste Ry Cabernet Sauvignon leaves the palate with a soft finish and a hint of chocolate. Whether with dark meat, game or savory dishes - this red wine is a wonderful accompaniment to food. But the Beyerskloof Eerste Ry Cabernet Sauvignon is also a highlight in the wine glass on its own.
