More information about BRLO Lederhoppen
For the past six years, Germany's capital has hosted not only Berlin Fashion Week but also Berlin Beer Week. For ten days, Berlin becomes the beery hub of Europe, attracting beer-focused attractions such as Brews Cruise, garden parties, beery bike tours, a Beer Olympics, tastings, tap takeovers and much more. Brewers and beer enthusiasts take over the city and celebrate beer as a cultural asset in a unique and exuberant way.
The Berlin brewery BRLO is of course part of the party every year and has brewed a special brew on the occasion of Berlin Beer Week 2021: Lederhoppen is a fine festival beer with 5.6% alcohol and a cheeky twist. The young brewers have taken a Bavarian classic and given it an extra dose of Berlin Kink. An unabashed union of the two hop varieties Kazbek and Ahtanum adds zest to the glass, giving the beer playful floral notes, fiercely sour citrus aromas and an exuberant fruitiness. A hint of spicy herbs rounds out the aroma game and most likely leaves you thirstier for beer than you were before the bottle of Lederhoppen.
By the way, if you think BRLO misspelled the word Lederhosen on the label, you should check out a Norwegian dictionary. Lederhoppen is definitely not a typo, and its meaning contributes to the kinky image of this beer.

Brlo - Your Berlin Beer As a Berlin brewery and catering company, we stand for modern beer diversity and distinctive experiences. A Franconian, a Berliner and a Mecklenburger founded the Berlin beer brand BRLO in 2014. Two of them, Katharina Kurz and Christian Laase, already know each other from their studies. Diplom Braumeister Michael Lembke is the third in the group, who shared the dream and has been the mastermind of BRLO beers since the beginning. However, the BRLO team is only really complete in 2016, when Ben Pommer joins the founding team and has since been responsible for the culinary concept of the BRLO Gastronomien with his unmistakable passion. From the original two beer styles Helles and Pale Ale, many different beer styles have grown over the years: Starting...
