More information about Chablis 1er Cru AOC Vacoupin Louis Robin
Made from 100% Chardonnay. Harvested by hand from vines over 40 years old, finesse-rich aromas of dried fruit, some almond and hazelnut as well as fresh citrus fruit and apple blossom, playful minerality, aromatic and persistent. Very good ageing potential.
The Vaucoupin vineyard is a 1er Cru area in southern Chablis, which is characterized by steep, hidden slopes that create both ideal ripening conditions and make the elaborate hand-picking necessary. The vines grow on fossil-rich limestone and clay, which produces low yields but high-quality, intense grapes. A delight for Chablis connoisseurs.

Domaine Louis Robin
The Robin family has owned property in Chablis since 1836. In 1888, they moved to Chichée, a small village 3 km south-east of Chablis. Today, the family owns around thirty hectares of vineyards in the best appellations, spread across Chichée and Chablis. Their vineyards extend over the southern slopes of the valleys and produce very aromatic and award-winning wines. In the vineyards, the Robin family practices "thoughtful" cultivation that respects traditions and the land through the use of the unique Chardonnay grape variety and moderate yields.
