HISTORY
D' GIN Black & Berry contains the unfiltered truth. To the annoyance of many, countless new blackberry bushes grow year after year between the fruit trees and "disturb" the usual fruit cultivation. As the harvest is also time-consuming and economically pointless, the blackberry almost always meets the fate of the shredder. Only a few berries make it into jam, cake or blackberry brandy. However, those who suffer from melancholy often make a virtue out of necessity. So we preserve the bushes in marginal locations and harvest these stubborn fruits. Initially filtered several times, we unfortunately almost lost the fruity, sour core. Experience makes perfect and today the full blackberry flavor remains in the unfiltered Black & Berry Gin. After all, it's not about maximizing the beauty process, but rather keeping the origin and the connection to nature authentic.
ORIGIN
Black & Berry Gin 500ml contains untreated fruit, plenty of blackberries and ingredients (botanicals) from the old Swabian orchards. The fruity essence is created from blackberries from the foothills of the Swabian Alb. The distillation in the copper kettle is carried out by the regional distiller, who draws on the decades-old distilling tradition of the grandparents and great-grandparents. In this prickly way, real Swabian orchard blackberries give the black Black&Berry Gin its inimitable fruity, sour taste.

The black D' GIN Black&Berry is made from a total of 13 botanicals (ingredients), over 8 of which come from fields, orchards and forests in the Swabian Alb. Fruity and tart, refined with blackberries, the result is an unfiltered, extremely fruity and intense gin made from locally harvested blackberries. Produced together with 12 other ingredients, a unique taste of Swabian origin.
TASTE
A hint of perceptible juniper on the nose, tart and fruity leading to intense blackberry on the palate, soft finish with fruity and sour notes.
STORAGE
Bottled in traditional bottles that honor the character of the beautiful and rugged landscape, a blackberry gin is stored that truly carries every effort of the harvest.

Die Geschichte von D’ GIN startet im Sommer 2022 auf den Mössinger Streuobstwiesen im Steinlachtal der Schwäbischen Alb. Zwischen Rechenmachern, Mondfängern und Pfennigspaltern entsteht D’ GIN aus der Inspiration alter Brennkunst, alten Obstsorten und der Wiederentdeckung unabhängiger Zeiten. Dieser feine Gin wird zu 100 Prozent handgefertigt und im traditionellen Dry-Verfahren in kleinen Chargen destilliert. Auf dem D’ Gin-Weg, angetrieben von Liebe zum Gin und zur Natur, entsteht mit den Erträgen der Streuobstwiesen ein regionaler Gin für die Region und darüber hinaus. Die Destillation erfolgt in einer uralten 148L Kupferdestille, erstmals 1776 erwähnt. Dabei werden ausschließlich hochwertige Botanicals aus nachhaltigem Anbau und von regionalen Erzeugern verwendet. D‘ Gin ist ein stolzes Gin-Start-Up, das die kulinarische Obstvielfalt bewahrt und vier regionale Gins sein Eigen nennt.
