HISTORY
Our D' GIN Red Kirsch reflects the laborious part of the region. Of over 40,000 orchard trees, the majority are local cherry trees. The cherry tree is given an inordinate amount of the Swabian's precious time. In the course of this special attention that has always been paid to them, it is not surprising that they are still painstakingly harvested by hand today. Anyone who has ever been involved in this memorable harvest phase knows the importance of time-consuming manual labor. This is where the Swabian draws on the full potential. The aim is not to rationalize the harvesting process, but rather to keep the origin and the connection to nature authentic. In this way, real Swabian orchard cherries give the Kirsch Gin its main note.
ORIGIN
D' GIN 500ml contains fruit and ingredients (botanicals) from the old Swabian orchards, transferring the old values of fruit growing and the age of distillers into the modern age. The essence is made from fruit, herbs and spices from the foothills of the Swabian Alb. The distillation in the copper kettle is carried out by the regional distiller, who draws on the decades-old distilling tradition of the grandparents and great-grandparents.

D' GIN RED Kirsch is made from 13 botanicals (ingredients), over 8 of which come from the fields, orchards and forests of the Swabian Alb. Flavored with the heart of our orchards, the decisive red color comes from the locally harvested cherries. Made together with 12 other ingredients, a unique taste of Swabian origin.
TASTE
Delicate juniper on the nose, followed shortly afterwards by light citrus notes and cherry nuances. A hint of fruit acidity on the palate, soft finish with fresh cherry notes.
STORAGE
Bottled in traditional bottles that pay tribute to the character of the beautiful and rugged landscape, a Kirsch GIN is stored that carries the toil of the harvest within it.

Die Geschichte von D’ GIN startet im Sommer 2022 auf den Mössinger Streuobstwiesen im Steinlachtal der Schwäbischen Alb. Zwischen Rechenmachern, Mondfängern und Pfennigspaltern entsteht D’ GIN aus der Inspiration alter Brennkunst, alten Obstsorten und der Wiederentdeckung unabhängiger Zeiten. Dieser feine Gin wird zu 100 Prozent handgefertigt und im traditionellen Dry-Verfahren in kleinen Chargen destilliert. Auf dem D’ Gin-Weg, angetrieben von Liebe zum Gin und zur Natur, entsteht mit den Erträgen der Streuobstwiesen ein regionaler Gin für die Region und darüber hinaus. Die Destillation erfolgt in einer uralten 148L Kupferdestille, erstmals 1776 erwähnt. Dabei werden ausschließlich hochwertige Botanicals aus nachhaltigem Anbau und von regionalen Erzeugern verwendet. D‘ Gin ist ein stolzes Gin-Start-Up, das die kulinarische Obstvielfalt bewahrt und vier regionale Gins sein Eigen nennt.
