The Dornier Merlot impresses in the glass with its wonderful ruby red color and its fruity aroma of dark berries and cherries. A hint of fynbos sets great accents and successfully rounds off the first impression. On the palate, the red wine impresses with its freshness and balance as well as concentrated notes of blackcurrants, ripe cherries and plums. Full-bodied and long-lasting on the palate, this classic and elegant red wine is the ideal accompaniment to dark meat, game or spicy dishes. Matured cheese is also a good choice with Dornier Merlot, which has matured for eighteen months in French oak.
