Originated in Panama - refined in Bavaria

Rum from Panama is in itself a rarity that makes connoisseurs' eyes light up. If it is also a limited edition that has been refined in a special way, then the pleasure is twice as great.

A rum is characterized above all by the fact that it has a natural sweetness, but can still have completely different character traits. Each distillery that produces rum has its own unique recipes and production methods, although they all rely on the basis of molasses or sugar cane juice. Thus, it happens that there are distillates that are rather creamy and smooth, and others that are more spicy and tangy. Especially in the Caribbean, as for example in Panama, one understands the production of excellent rum.

But how does the rum come to Bavaria?

In Wehringen, just outside Augsburg, in Bavarian Swabia, is the realm of the Singold Distillery. There, the exquisite and complex brandies are filled a second time into special barrels and then enter the in-house barrel warehouse. Its open construction allows the Excellent&Rare distillates to be exposed almost one-to-one to the changing weather conditions and temperatures of the foothills of the Alps - the cold winter, the cool, wet spring, the dry, hot summer and the dense fog in the fall.

Here, the barrels can breathe in the wooden racks and mature until bottling.
