Tasting notes
In terms of aroma and taste, the 10-year-old "Excellent and Rare" has an incredible amount to offer. Its raw materials (Virgin Sugar Cane Honey), production and maturation have given it a multitude of aromas.
This rum is not only surrounded by sweet, warm and oily aromas, it also shows its delicately spicy and yet very fruity side with balanced roasted and wood aromas. Toffee meets milk chocolate and fine orange zest.
On the palate, the rum from Panama is full-bodied and oily at the same time, with fine tart chocolate and vanilla notes, accompanied by baked apple notes and a pleasant spiciness of marzipan, cedar and walnut.
The finish is a persistent interplay of warm, sweet and light bitter almond.
