The rum for the Gold Edition is distilled from sugar cane molasses. After maturing for 18 years, it is given a refreshingly different finish in tequila barrels.
Our limited Gold Edition Batch 1 will be released with a total of 253 bottles.

Tasting notes
The "Gold Edition" reflects exactly how it was created. On the one hand, the exquisite sugar cane, whose molasses was distilled into rum, and on the other, its maturation in a tequila cask to be kissed twice by the sunshine.
The nose is powerful, sweet and yet fresh. A dessert of dark chocolate mousse with overripe bananas and a hint of fresh mint. Winey notes of grappa are added, with the sweetness of acacia honey and cinnamon always lingering in the background.
Fine notes of licorice and liquorice spread across the palate, framed by ripe bananas, coconut, cocoa and roasted aromas of cold coffee. Delicate herbal notes float along and make the rum complex, refined and exotic.
The sweetness of liquorice and raisins lingers in the finish.
Exotic, powerful and full of sophistication.
