The Fairview Bloemcool Berg en Dal Oupa se Wingerd sparkles a bright and spirited red in the glass. The aroma of fresh cranberries and cherries fills the nose. The notes of red fruits also delight the palate and are accompanied by aromatic fynbos and mineral tones. The grapes for the oak-matured red wine come from old Grenache Noir vines in Piekenierskloof, which grow on the Berg-en-Dal farm - hence the name of the Fairview Bloemcool Berg en Dal Oupa se Wingerd. As only the best four barrels of the red wine were selected and only 1665 bottles were produced, you should definitely enjoy Fairview Bloemcool Berg en Dal Oupa se Wingerd on its own. The red wine is also a wonderful accompaniment to dishes with dark meat.
