My name is Steen Lerche-Jensen and I am the founder and Master Distiller at The Hope Distillery OÜ. My gin story begins in the summer of 1997, when I decided to leave my old life in Denmark behind and go in search of new adventures. So I packed my little suitcase and flew to London to make a new start. Just like the Vikings used to do - with the dream of learning about different cultures and living in them!

The time in London was great. I learned about many different types of gin and developed a passionate interest in juniper distillate. My trip to London was just the beginning - from here I traveled to many more countries to work and pursue my hobby of drinking gin. Through all the changes of location, I collected gins from all over the world - from the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Poland to Switzerland, Ireland, Lithuania, Estonia and Australia.

The idea to turn the hobby into a profession developed quickly and was put into practice. This was followed by training as a Master Distiller in London. But life drew me to Estonia again. There I decided to open my own distillery. So a location was rented and distillery equipment was purchased.

Gindome is now the fantastic gin brand that was born from my deep interest and commitment. You can be sure that I put all my experience and love for gin into making the best premium gin possible. My tagline is "Spirit of Legends" - and so I also draw inspiration from the countless legends the world has to tell. I hope you find joy in the products into which I have put my heart, my passion and my story.
