More information about Hertl's Braumeister Rum
After David Hertl's hop gin hit like a bomb, another high-proof stroke of genius is now following: Braumeister Rum with hops!
Beer is the most popular alcoholic beverage in Germany. Beer is diverse, palatable, refined and simply delicious - but even the most convinced beer fan wants a change in the glass from time to time! A nice glass of rum, whisky or gin, for example. For precisely these cases, David Hertl has come up with a fine drop that scores with a little more revolutions.
The new addition to the category of high-proof specialties is Braumeister Rum. It is based on a Caribbean rum with a crisp 35% alcohol content. To put his own stamp on the aromatic drink, David has spiced up the rum with a whole range of the finest spices.
Of course, a Braumeister rum should not be without one thing: Hops! The green gold gives the spicy spirit fruity, fresh notes and a hint of bitterness. Soft malt notes are perfectly matched to the hops and bring balance to the aroma. Exotic vanilla, cinnamon sticks, allspice, fiery pepper and the peel of sun-ripened oranges add spice and depth.
Hertl's Braumeister Rum is the crowning glory for wonderful moments. This exquisite drink is perfect as an aperitif before a good meal or as the perfect end to a successful day!

In 2013, he went into business for himself and opened his own brewery, Braumanufaktur. He discovered his passionate interest in brewing as a teenager. His first beer experiments in his mother's kitchen led to the former pigsty on his parents' farm being converted into a miniature brewery. Today, the charismatic young brewer already produces around 80 hectoliters of the finest beer on 80 square meters, and the trend is rising: a new brewhouse and further equipment are to boost production strongly, as demand for David Hertl's barley juice specialties...
