The bouquet of the Kanonkop Cabernet Sauvignon reveals its complexity and delights with aromas of dark fruits. Blueberries, blackberries and cassis stand out in particular, while nuances of tobacco, oak and cedar lend a spicy depth.
On the palate, the concentrated fruit notes are perfectly complemented by spices, roasted nuts and fynbos. The well-integrated tannins ensure a harmonious mouthfeel that rounds off the Kanonkop Cabernet Sauvignon wonderfully. The 24-month maturation in small French oak barrels gives the wine elegance and depth.
