More information about Lanzerac Pinotage 2019
In a beautiful dark red, the Lanzerac Pinotage flows into the glass and spoils the senses of the connoisseur in the nose and on the palate with wonderful aromas of plums and ripe berries. Well structured and long-lasting in the finish, the full-bodied red wine, which matured for fifteen months in French oak, already promises culinary delight. This is also due to the great balance of fruit and oak notes. Thanks to its good tannin structure, however, the Lanzerac Pinotage also has great storage potential and will gain in complexity over time and develop further flavors such as caramel and chocolate. The winery is a specialist in South Africa's national grape, as Lanzerac was the first estate to bottle a Pinotage. Lanzerac Pinotage is best enjoyed neat or served with aromatic dishes of dark meat, game or savory. Asian cuisine dishes are also a recommended complement to Lanzerac Pinotage.
