More information about Lanzerac Le Général 2019
The best barrels of the vintage were selected for the Lanzerac Le Général - the result: a full-bodied red wine cuvée made from Cabernet Sauvignon (57%), Merlot (25%), Petit Verdot (9%) and Malbec (9%). Wonderful aromas of vanilla and nutmeg unfold on the nose. Notes of dark berries and blackcurrants caress the palate. A hint of dark chocolate and soft tannins make the taste experience of Lanzerac Le Général perfect. Enjoy this long-lasting red wine, which has matured for 20 months in French oak, with dark meat in a herb and pepper crust. But Lanzerac Le Général is also simply delicious with a chocolate dessert with cherries. Incidentally, the name of the wine is reminiscent of the general named Lanzerac, a good friend of Elizabeth Katherina English, who named her winery after him.
