The Lanzerac Syrah shimmers in a dark red in the glass and exudes the wonderful, spicy scent of coriander, white pepper and fynbos, while nuances of plums provide a fruity component. On the palate, the red wine, aged for sixteen months in French oak, also impresses with its richness of facets. Notes of ripe dark and red berries and spicy hints provide a nice taste experience. This makes the Lanzerac Syrah a pleasure on its own, but it is also highly recommended with dishes of beef or game in a mushroom sauce or with aged cheese.
