The Liebl specialty distillery is located in the heart of the Bavarian forest. In the tranquil town of Bad Kötzting, brandy sommelier Gerhard Liebl passionately creates his inspiring distillates, which need not shy away from international comparison with top producers. In addition to its core business, the production of high-quality fruit brandies from the region's rich fruit supply, Brenerei Liebl experiments with passion and inventiveness.

This Bavarian rum is the result of this inventive spirit. It is made exclusively from high-quality organic sugar cane molasses from Paraguay. The soft and particularly pure mountain spring water of the Bavarian Forest provides the ideal basis for the production of this Bavarian rum. The rum is produced using the traditional pot still distillation method in small copper stills using a double distillation process that is particularly slow and gentle on the aroma. It is stored for several years in high-quality cognac and port barrels.

The result is a wonderful fusion of Caribbean fire and Bavarian gourmet culture. The nose is dominated by banana, raisins, port wine, coconut and vanilla. These impressions are confirmed on the palate and complemented by hints of caramel and toffee.

Having emerged from a small grocery store and started in the spirits sector with the production of the Bavarian Forest classics Bärwurz and Blutwurz, our company has developed into one of the leading spirits producers in Germany in recent years. The basis for the high quality standards is, in addition to the many years of experience of master distiller and fine spirits sommelier Gerhard Liebl, the optimal interaction between traditional distilling art and innovative fermentation technology.
