In the women-owned family business "Diamante Mezcalero", artisan mezcal has been produced for over 100 years. The distillery is run with renewable raw materials and for each harvested agave of the wild endemic variety "Durangensis" four new ones are planted.
Mezcal Ajal combines smoky flavor with the soft aromas of almond, peach and refreshing citrus. The finish is mild and sensationally smooth. This makes it ideal for mixing cocktails and also for pure enjoyment. A unique mezcal from a traditionally working family business!

Mezcal Ajal
100% woman power, 100% wild - our Mezcal Ajal does not do things by halves. Our distillery in Durango, Mexico, has been run exclusively by women for generations. There we produce our mezcal from the wild Cenizo agave - artisanal, so artesanal, natural and sustainable: for every agave harvested, we plant 4 new ones. In this way, nature around our distillery is preserved. We are also award-winning: Mezcal Ajal was awarded in 2020 by Cava as one of 33 best rated mezcals and in 2018 with the silver medal of the Academia del Mezcal y del Maguey in Mexico.
