More information about Montanaro Vermouth di Torino Bianco
Wild herb fans take note: in Montanaro Vermouth di Torino Bianco you will find myrrh, gentian, wormwood and musk yarrow (we also had to look it up). There is also bitter orange, balsamic notes of aloe vera and aromas of rhubarb. An exciting interplay of bitter, sour and sweet. The herbs blend wonderfully with the base wine Moscatel (Muscatel), with its typical muscat, peach and orange peel notes.

We are in the sweet range, but the Montanaro Vermouth di Torino Bianco is not incredibly sweet in taste and is well suited as a Vermouth Spritz or Vermouth Tonic.

Die Montanaro Distillery hat ihre Wurzeln im Destilliermeister Francesco Trussoni aus Gallo d'Alba, der 1885 den ersten Grappa di Barolo aus einer einzigen Traubensorte kreierte. 1922 übernahmen Mario Montanaro, seine Frau Angela Trussoni und Sohn Giuseppe das Unternehmen, optimierten den Produktionsprozess mit Dampfdestillierkolben. Ende der 2000er verkaufte Giuseppe Montanaro die Brennerei an lokale Geschäftsleute.
