The Morgenster Merlot flows into the glass in a beautiful red hue and already unfolds its rich facets in the bouquet. Notes of dark plums and cherries are underpinned by earthy tones and spicy pepper and provide a successful first impression. On the palate, the fruity-spicy aromas continue, with nuances of clove, nutmeg and oak in particular making themselves felt. The good tannin structure provides a pleasant mouthfeel before the Morgenster Merlot says goodbye with a long-lasting finish. Enjoy this red wine, aged for twelve months in French oak, best with your favorite pasta. But Mediterranean dishes, grilled chicken, beef or lamb are also excellent choices with Morgenster Merlot.
