More information about Walking the Crosswalk
To celebrate the brewery's fifth anniversary, Orca Brau has brewed Walking the Crosswalk. Conceived as a tribute to the time in Vancouver, Canada, when the dream of owning a brewery matured into a concrete plan, the birthday beer comes as a Double Black IPA. Black IPAs, also called Cascadia Dark Ales, were all the rage in the Pacific North West in the early 2010s.
Brewed with Simcoe and Columbus hops, Orca Brau Walking the Crosswalk is aged with oak chips steeped in Canadian whiskey for that extra special flavor.
How does Orca Brau Walking the Crosswalk taste?
The Double Black IPA impresses with its hoppy, resinous and fruity character, which is complemented by toasty and chocolaty aromas. Added to this are notes of wood and whiskey. Taste-wise, Orca Brau Walking the Crosswalk is an absolute rarity.
What is the alcohol content of Orca Brau Walking the Crosswalk?
As a Double or Imperial Black IPA, the Nuremberg beer naturally comes with a few more revolutions, specifically 8.5% vol.
