Plaisir Merlot 2018 - Red wine

In a powerful red, the Plaisir Merlot shines in the glass and spoils the senses of the connoisseur with its fruity aroma. The aromas of red berries are underpinned by a hint of violets and some mint chocolate. The richness of facets continues on the palate, here the fruity cherry and plum notes are surrounded by vanilla, cloves and cedar and lead to a velvety soft finish. The red wine aged sixteen months in oak and is a pleasure in its own right. But the versatile Plaisir Merlot also accompanies quite wonderfully dishes with game or spicy meat.
