More information about Pocas Porto LBV- Port wine
An LBV Port comes from a single harvest year, which must also be indicated on the label. It is aged in barrels for 4-6 years and only then bottled.
This intense ruby red, full-bodied and strong Port with a strong tannic structure has a remarkable aromatic persistence, it is characterized by the excellent aftertaste.
This traditional Port comes from 40-60 year old vines. It is bottled unfiltered and thus develops the typical sediment (the deposit), but this also makes it much more complex than a normal LBV. It should be decanted in any case.
