In the manufactory in the Eifel region, they have created a few delicious cocktails with and without alcohol, in which their sparkling Christmas editions come into their own perfectly.
There are two great recipes for the Windspiel Christmas Dry Gin that you can enjoy both during the Advent season and between the holidays, as well as a fine gin and tonic that impresses with Christmas notes and fruity mandarin.
For their non-alcoholic Christmas edition, the Eifel-based company has come up with something very special - an after-dinner cocktail that packs the currently popular Dubai chocolate into an alcohol-free drink. Incredibly delicious!
Both Windspiel creations, the non-alcoholic Christmas edition and the Christmas Dry Gin, impress with wintry botanicals such as cinnamon, hazelnut, vanilla and a great baked apple aroma. Inspired by Dubai chocolate - the non-alcoholic Dubai Coffee
Recipe #1 - Non-alcoholic Dubai Coffee
Dubai chocolate is already on everyone's lips. But served as a non-alcoholic mocktail, this Dubai Coffee is the perfect drink after a festive meal - or for contemplative hours under the Christmas tree in the evening.
Ingredients:
- 6 cl Windspiel non-alcoholic Christmas edition
- 2 tsp instant coffee
- 2 tsp cocoa powder
- 7.5 ml toffee syrup
- White chocolate
- Pistachio cream
Preparation:
- Coat the inside of the glass with liquid white chocolate.
- Beat all the ingredients together with a frother until frothy.
- Add ice cubes to the glass and pour in the mixture.
- Pour pistachio cream around the rim of the glass. Enjoy.
Hot, hotter - the Virgin Christmas Drink from Winspiel
Recipe #2 - Hot Christmas drink
The Hot Christmas tastes great not only during the Christmas holidays, but also during Advent and between the years. Golden flakes meet baked apple - and wonderfully warming moments.
Ingredients:
- 6 cl Windspiel Christmas Dry Gin
- 15 cl cloudy apple juice
- Cinnamon, sugar
- Apple ring
- cinnamon stick
Preparation:
- Heat the apple juice until it steams (do not boil!)
- Moisten the rim of the glass and dip in the cinnamon and sugar mixture.
- Pour the hot apple juice and Windspiel Weihnachts Gin into the glass. Stir briefly.
- Garnish with apple ring & cinnamon stick. Enjoy.
Christmas gin and tonic with tangerines
Recipe #3 - Christmas tangerine gin and tonic
This tangerine dream provides refreshing moments under the Christmas tree. Also great as an aperitif - or for after the festive meal.
Ingredients:
- 4 cl Windspiel Christmas Dry Gin
- Windspiel tonic water
- 2-3 cl freshly squeezed mandarin juice
- mandarins
Preparation:
- Fill the glass with ice cubes.
- Cut off the tangerine peel and run it around the rim of the glass. Pour into the glass.
- Pour the gin & mandarin juice into the glass. Top up with tonic water.
- Garnish with mandarin pieces. Enjoy.
