More information about Organic raw food black cumin oil
The true black cumin (Nigella Sativa) has its origin in Western Asia and Egypt. This ancient medicinal and spice plant is not related to caraway or cumin. The black cumin oil tastes very spicy and hot or peppery.
It finds its application both as a remedy and spice. The oil goes well with many dishes, stews, sauces, casseroles or even salads.
Black cumin oil contains up to 60% unsaturated fatty acids, especially gamma-linolenic acid, essential amino acids, such as arginine, asparagine, glycine, phenylalanine, serine, tyrosine and valine. But also numerous vitamins and minerals, such as provitamin A or beta-carotene, vitamin B (folic acid, B1 to B69), vitamin C, vitamin E, magnesium and selenium.
The black cumin oil comes from the oil mill from the farm Hoher Schönberg.
