The first of two identical raw spirits we were able to produce at an Austrian distillery found its way onto a former cognac barrel, which elicited its herbal nuances from the finely crafted gin and makes it appear in a completely new light. This product is a limited edition single cask hand bottling of 72 bottles at 49%vol, unsifted and unfiltered from cask to bottle and may contain suspended solids.
Aging: 6 months tempered finish on a single cognac back octave format.
Nose: Juniper, eucalyptus and a little cocoa - as it ages and oxidizes, marjoram and Mediterranean spices.
Mouth: A mixture of herbs and grasses from which especially lemon balm, spikenard, eucalyptus and after some time printen stand out.
Finish: Herbal and spicy.
